President's Bio

Sergeant Anthony Cesarano

Sergeant Anthony Cesarano, President     Sergeant Anthony Cesarano was appointed to the New York City Police Department on July 15, 1986. Upon completion of the Police Academy he was assigned to Neighborhood Stabilization Unit #3 and was responsible for performing patrol duties in Midtown South, Midtown North and the 17th Precincts. Upon successful completion of his Neighborhood Stabilization Unit training period, he was then transferred to the 44th Precinct and was responsible for performing patrol duties in the South Bronx. As a result of his above average arrest activity and strong work ethic was subsequently assigned to the street narcotics enforcement unit. Shortly thereafter, was once again recognized for his dedication and expertise and transferred to the anti-crime unit. On December 20, 1991 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and transferred to the 23rd Precinct in Manhattan North. Sergeant Anthony Cesarano was responsible for supervising patrol duties. Six months later he was transferred to the 30th Precinct. During his time in the 30th Precinct he was recognized as a strong supervisor. As a result of his strong work ethic he was assigned to the Community Policing Unit. On January 3, 1996 he was transferred to the Narcotics Division and assigned to Queens Narcotics and he was responsible for supervising buy and bust operations in Queens North. On December 20, 2001 he was transferred to the elite Drug Enforcement Task Force and responsible for supervising not only New York Police Department personnel but also New York State Troopers and Drug Enforcement Administration Agents.

     Sergeant Anthony Cesarano graduated magna cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He resides in Queens and has two beautiful children, Caterina and Alivia.
